Residence Inn by Marriott Visalia

Great breakfast and amenities. Very polite staff. Several Places to eat within walking distance. Nice gym too!

The only problem is there's a tear in the carpet and I don't know if the shower's clean because there's a soap bar left in the shower from last guest.

Some of the other reviews made me nervous to book here but I had a great one night stay. Clean enough rooms (there were some crumbs on the kitchen floor but all I care about is if the bed is clean), extremely comfortable bed, great and impressive free breakfast in the morning. The showers are really weird and spray water all over the bathroom because they have no shower door?? Which is really odd, but it was only one night so I wasn’t too peeved. The only really annoying element to my stay was the $15 parking fee, which the hotel is in the middle of a field with tons of parking spots so it seems really stingy to charge for parking. The gym was really clean and had actual weights, not just treadmills. If business takes me out to Visalia again I would stay here again.

Great hotel, truly. Dropped a star because the breakfast was weak. Stayed four nights and only saw a few major changes to the breakfast bar. Two mornings in a row, same hot options. Getting over that, the hotel is awesome. Great suites and great location. Access to restaurants is easy. Good spot to get to national parks. Great pool and other amenities.

My wife and I stayed here with our 9 and 5 year olds, and the 2-bedroom suite was a perfect layout. The master bedroom had its own private bathroom, separated from the other bedroom by the living/kitchen areas. The second bathroom adjoined the living area, which worked out great for having one kid on the sofa bed and the other in the second bedroom. The kids enjoyed using the basketball court and hanging out by the outdoor fire in the evening. It even turned out to be right across the freeway from the Renaissance Faire going on that weekend. Breakfast options were solid as well. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Stayed at thr Residence Inn by Marriott off of Plaza in Visalia, CA. It was really convenient for getting on the 198 and the 99 when traveling yo and from the airport and clients. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a nice place to stay. The rooms were big and clean and the kitchens in the rooms were accommodating. The staff was very nice and the property was in hood condition. We did not eat the breakfast in the mornings as we were put before they put it out. If we come back to visalia we would stay here again. Being a Bonvoy member it made it easy as we booked this trip on points.

King suite room with pullout sofa was good for the family. Average room amenities. Nothing special about this hotel but had everything we needed. About 45-55 minutes from the hotel to the entrance of Sequoia. Good rates for comparable family suites available in town.

Perfectly located off the I-5. Since I arrived at 3 am they had the doors to the entrance shut which made me feel safe as a solo female traveler. The receptionist made the check in process fast and easy considering I was beyond exhausted and in a crabby mood, I was able to get late check out until noon. The pillows are still one of the fluffiest pillows I’ve ever had in a hotel! And there were extra blankets in the closet. The room is about the size of a one bedroom apartment maybe slightly bigger! And the large windows make the space feel luxurious, I can’t wait to stay there again!
